Right. So this is probably going to be rough until we get the hang of it, but it's better than what we had. Bloody awkward to be doing this through dictation. Bloody awkward isn't the half of it. You don't have to oh never mind it's fine. We'll just have to work on it a bit.

I’m still kicking, and I figure we’ve got too much going on to sit on my thumbs.

I’ve been working more with Fu lately, sorting out strategies of fighting in null fields versus active magical areas and what that looks like. There’s also the notion of what Saltash can do from inside the field, and whether it’d be effective at all. Guns are a thought, but ammo is a challenge. The bullits that’ve already been made are probably too old and unstable to use, and the bullits or shot I think they’re different things but not sure how anyways the ammo we’d make ourselves would only work for certain kinds of guns, and they’d have a limited number of rounds, and getting our hands on the guns themselves would be tricky. We’re also talking cross bows. He can make those, but it takes time. Maybe there’s a museum somewhere that has that sort of stuff lying around?

Poppy, Severus, thanks for your help with the potions. Now that Fu and me have Colin, we’ve been thinking through what we can do and where. Should I steer clear of Saltash, or do you think it'll make much difference? Other than the obvious security risk of getting in, I mean.

Tonks, when are we meeting up again so I can kick your just cross that so I can try some of these weapons out? How are the slowdown camps coming along? Get a chance to smuggle anyone out yet? I know there isn’t much to be done on this end of things, but I can head over to Sherwood and work on some logistics. Just say the word.

Anyways. I just wanted to let you lot know that I’m a stubborn bastard, yes, it’s all right, I meant it, and it’ll take a hell of a lot more than this to take me out of the fight.

We’ll get this dictation sorted out. Looking forward to working with you, kiddo. (Oh. Apologies. That last bit was directed to me. –CC.)
