victor and me have launched the hopeful. we've got five folks courtesy of sherwood who want to try their luck in france. we're keeping a low profile until it gets dark, but we've got vic's old navy uniform again just in case.

kingsley, man, sorry to leave you with ridley. this has been one hell of a week. at least steve was able to head back up there and give a hand. I'll be back tomorrow afternoon to help out. it's a good thing scott isn't coming along, but I'm still surprised ridley has decided to stick around and didn't insist on a ride out of here the first chance she had. maybe she's sorted out that we're worth the trouble, even if she has a funny way of showing it.

It's all right Frank. I'm certainly familiar how faces can rotate when we're on assignment.

Ridley's started complaining about Dorcas's cooking, so she's back on cheese sandwiches again. While Dorcas and I are enjoying her famous chicken pie. Ridley's loss. Maybe it's cruel, but we've been casually fanning the aroma across her place at the table, which is making her surly. Don't have much pity for her; it's her own stubborn fault.

Wonder what Dogstar fed her: Lobster Thermidor and caviar, perhaps?
